WVUE Fox 8 Report: Captain Lansden – Katrina Hero in Iraq

This WVUE Fox 8 Special Report explains the unique link between Captain Lansden’s leadership during the devastation of New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina and his role in the rebuilding efforts in Iraq.

5 Years of Silence

In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf South, leaving communities in chaos and taking the lives of so many. As the rebuilding and recovery efforts continue even today, there are some people who were forgotten – the veterans of WWII, Korea and Vietnam resting in Merrick Cemetery in Violet, Louisiana. Watch this short video as Captain Robert Lansden visits this cemetery in July 2007 and shows you the negligence that these silent victims have suffered. Their resting place is in need of restoration and repair. You can help. Contact Captain Robert Lansden at (985) 370-9006 to assist in honoring those who served.
